South Africa's Photographer of the Year, People's Choice Award winner Roy Zetiski is currently photographing wildlife at the Lighthouse Coffee Company on Sea, 47 Stadler Road, Bloubergstrand, Cape Town. Photos are on display.

The show will run until the end of January 2025 and will feature his winning photos as well as several shortlisted photos.

'Meet the Artist' breakfast sessions will be held on all weekends and public holidays until the end of January, during which A3 prints will be available as exhibition offers, as well as 5 wildlife books to be released in 2025. A preview of the box set containing the book will also be released. You can also pre-order a personalized signed book for your breakfast session.

Award-winning photographer, cinematographer, and filmmaker Roy Zetisky also received the Mnet Vuka Award for Best Cinematography and The FILM Best Mentor Award for his work in educating underprivileged filmmakers. I'm doing it. Zetiski is also the Director of Film at AFDA Film School in Cape Town and has delivered masterclasses in cinematography and directing to postgraduate students at SAE Institute, Ohms Film School, DOCCY Institute and AFDA.

Roy Zetiski has also served as a juror for film festivals such as SAFTA'S, Durban International Film Festival, and the International Emmy Awards.

Zetiski's wildlife exhibit includes photographs taken in South Africa and Namibia, as well as much of the collection he created in the free-roaming area of the Gondwana Game Reserve near Mossel Bay, where he lived for several years. .

Zetisky's exhibition of analog works from the 1980s has just concluded at the Barrydale Arts Festival. Both of his exhibitions opened on the same weekend in mid-December.

This exhibition, which is currently on display, features large prints of wild animals taken up close, as well as themed photographs that show the relationships between wild animals and their environment.

In conclusion, I quote Mariel Hemingway and Melissa Yamaguchi, co-founders of the Mariel Hemingway Foundation, authors of the foreword to Roy Zetisky's book to be released in 2025. “Roy Zetisky's photographs beautifully capture the essence of the greater whole. Through his lens, Mother Nature is more than just a distant sight. It becomes a familiar, calming presence that speaks to your soul. His images exude a calming simplicity, grounding the viewer in the serenity and peace that only nature can provide.Roy's work brings a part of oneself back to life by reconnecting with the natural world. A gentle reminder to rediscover and calm your mind in the process.”
