The Iraqi Ministerial Meeting has introduced an important update on the National Electronic Insurance Platform. This initiative is designed to rationalize the health insurance process for visiting, arrival, and residents in Iraq, and has gained more efficient and simplified visa application.
An important update of the National Electronic Insurance Platform.
If you apply for a visa via the e-VISA system, you must pay electronically. There is no additional charge at the entrance of Iraq to revitalize the visa. Health insurance premiums include Visa Activation Charge, eliminating additional management procedures and promoting entry processes.
New compliance requirements.
Travelers need to present their hard -copy health insurance documents to immigrants when they arrive. New visa stickers are printed electronically, accurate traveler information is secured, and visa processing errors are minimized.
A framework for renewal regulations.
According to Article 12 of the Iraqi Ministerial Conference on January 15, 2025, this updated health insurance process is part of a continuous initiative to modernize the Iraqi visa system. The implementation of electronic insurance platforms nationwide is expected to improve efficiency, reduce entry delays, and provide seamless experience by all travelers.
By integrating health insurance payments into the E-VISA application process, Iraq aims to simplify immigration procedures and secure immigration regulations. This update will enhance the government's commitment to promote travel and use technology to improve the border management mechanism.
