Tourism Seychelles has concluded a strategic media briefing in Johannesburg. There, Prime Minister Sherryn Francis outlined his vision for his destination in 2025. Luxury Hotel Projects, Boutique Properties, and Seychelles Tourist Rating Program. This session reinforced Seychelles' commitment to maintaining its status as a major holiday destination while expanding the attraction of tourism.

Important highlights include planning for major sporting events such as the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the Seychelles Sailing Challenge and the Seychelles Nature Trail, which positions the island as an international sports and tourism centre. The briefing aims to generate expectations for the 40th Festival Cleor in October 2025 and to enhance visitors' engagement with the Seicheroa culture. Francis emphasized that strengthening relations with the South African market remains a priority as the Seychelles continue to diversify its offerings and attract experience-driven travelers from the region.
