    In a year marked by global uncertainty and regional geopolitical challenges, Egypt's tourism sector achieved a remarkable milestone, welcoming a record 15.7 million tourists in 2024 . Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy said this success was thanks to the comprehensive efforts of the Egyptian government. government and related parties. The report positions Egypt as a top global destination for culture, history and leisure, and delves into the strategic initiatives and future goals that will drive Egypt's tourism growth.

    Minister Fathy addressed the Senate Committee on Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Media, highlighting the resilience and innovation that will characterize Egypt's tourism sector in 2024.
