    Tanzania Broadcasting Company will launch a new program to support sightseeing

    Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) has announced the launch of the new television program, The Slave Caravan, to educate the local and international audience in Tanzania's slave trade history while promoting sightseeing. The show, which will be debuted at TBC's Tanzania Safari Channel, includes interviews with documentary, experts, reproduction, Zanjibar and Bagamoyo to Kigoma's Uji Juji Route to historical sites in line with slave caravan routes. This initiative is trying to use Tanzania's cultural heritage as a tourist asset.

    The program consistent with the command from President Samillo -Roof Hassan, which prompted stakeholders to explore stakeholders to find the possibility of sightseeing on the slave caravan route during the 2021 Royal Tour Adecutionary shooting. Accessibility of various activities such as walking tours and cycling. Through the “Slave Caravan”, TBC aims to maintain the rich history of Tanzania, attract visitors, support the growth of the tourist sector, and further solidify the status of the country as a cultural and historical destination. 。
