According to United Airlines, four passengers and two crews were injured on Friday when a United Airlines flight from Lagos in Nigeria to Washing Tondales International Airport in Virginia.
In the video shot by passengers, there are chaos on the ship where trays, foods, and other objects are scattered on the flying floor.
According to the airline, the 613 flights were urgently landed in Lagos, and six injured people were brought to nearby hospitals. Leslie Scott, a United Airlines spokesman, told CNN that they are all released.
It is unknown what caused the impact during the flight. United Airlines states that the cause is not a serious turbulence, but to “understand the cause in cooperation with the United States and Nigeria's Aviation Authority.”
The flight data accessed from Flightradar24 indicates 613 flights suddenly descending from the cruising altitude about 93 minutes after takeoff.
According to Flightradar, the same aircraft from Lagos to Washington's Dallye International Airport had been detour before Tuesday. Advanced data from the flight showed a rapid descent of 1,000 feet about 89 minutes after flight. It is unknown whether the detour of UA613 is related.
According to United, Friday flights carry 245 passengers, eight flight attendants, and three pilots.
Michael Achimug, director of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Bureau (NCAA) and the Director of Consumer Protection Bureau, confirmed the incident for each state -owned radio nigeria and emphasized that there was no death. Radio Nigeria reported that passengers had been housed in the hotel.
Friday incidents included Boeing 787. This was subject to the Federal Aviation Bureau's examination following the Latam Aviation Service Diving last March. In the previous case, the investigator found that the pilot seats in the flight had rushed to the airplane control pillar ahead and dropped their nose.
A few days after the Ratam Aviation Incident, Boeing recommends that Boeing 787 will send an advisory and inspect the airplane cockpit seat switch.
