SAS will be released in February 2025 for 9,000 representatives, blended with Scandinavian heritage, modern design, comprehension, and sustainability.
SAS has released a new crew uniform for 9,000 representatives, combining scandinavian tradition and fresh and positive design. For nearly 80 years, SAS uniforms have reflected the identity of the airline as a reliable Scandinavian airline. Growing, a variety of crews and customer bases, the new uniforms are accepting functions and innovation, praising the rich heritage of airlines, symbolizing the transformation and commitment to the future.
30 million passengers meet SAS crew every year. For hundreds of thousands of people traveling to Scandinavia every year, they are the first introduction of Scandinavian aesthetics.
“Updating a unified policy was an important step in refreshing who we were as an airline. Pernille ORMHOLT VANG, the chief of SAS, said: I mentioned it.
The updated uniform design was created through a close collaboration between the SAS category. It has gained insights that influenced the modern, functional, comprehensive and sustainable design that completely embodies the value of SAS scandinavia.
“Uniforms are more than just recognized functions. It's an important work tool for colleagues and a powerful heritage and identity,” says SAS design director Christinemeyer. “The uniform trends reflect the times they are often worn and function as the core expression of the airline identity. SAS has embarked on a new exciting chapter, so it is appropriate to update the appearance. I believe this uniform is a symbolic symbol. “
A unique feature of the uniform era is to meet modern: Silhouette has been inspired by the past symbolic SAS uniforms designed under the legendary name of Christian Dior and Calvin Klein. It combines modern and friendly aesthetics, premium materials and dynamic accents, creating a refreshing appearance that transcends the times. Comprehensive and individuality: Neutral items, optional sneakers, gender comprehensive uniforms with visible tattoos and piercings allow team members to introduce their character. Focusing persistence: Materials are selected with longevity in mind, and some existing items are reused or up -cycled to minimize waste. Functionality and adaptability: Uniform balance forms and functions, various roles, seasons, and meteorological conditions.
“It's important to create a culture that everyone in our company is unique and a colleague has confidence in expressing his identity,” says Pernille ORMHOLT VANG. “People are in the center we do, and welcome the diversity of personal expressions through the initiative like a neutral uniform, so we are related to the people and communities we serve. I believe it will be.
Updated uniforms are built based on recent changes in SAS appearance policies, such as optional sneakers, visible tattoos, and earrings. These updates, introduced last summer, reflect the SAS commitment that respects personality and fostering praised workplaces.
The development starts in February 2025, and the old and new items coexist during the transition for one year.
