YouTuber issued an urgent warning to ship passengers about online fraud, including rubber duck sales.
Gary Bembridge, which runs the Tips for Travelers Channel, has opened a light practice unique to cruise ships.
In fact, cruise critics have proven that hundreds of thousands of people have participated in this activity over the past five to six years.
However, the scammers are paying attention, and sadly, they seemed to have taken the opportunity to exploit traditional fans on social media.
Gary states: “Many cruises tend to take rubber ducks on board and hide them very large.
He explained that a scammer who posted to the social media, especially in the Facebook group, has been found using duck stock images, including a part of “seemingly homemade.”
Gary stated that the scammers saw the cruises they planned to shoot were canceled, or they no longer go on a trip.
He continued: “They invite people to send a message to the people and offer to send a duck only for postage costs. This often looks surprisingly high.”
Gary added: “From the online comments on the site that is actually dedicated to the phenomenon of groups and Cruz Duck, the scammers are very active, and they seem to be quite organized from this specific fraud. You will be duck.
This is not the first time that passengers have been warned about social media scammers. In December, ILANA SCHATTAUER revealed one strategy, including what is known as the “slot pool” from Life's cruise.
Shutta Wear explained that passengers posted to the Facebook group and requested a slot pool with others. That means they want to pool their money together to win on the on -board casino.
However, this occurs among legal players, but scammers also use the opportunity and asked the people to send cash before boarding.
