    Four flight attendants and two flight attendants were injured on a United Airlines flight to Washington Dulles when the Boeing 787 Dreamliner flew over Ivory Coast, West Africa, twice over 200 feet in the neighborhood. He was injured when he suddenly fell nearby.

    United Airlines flight UA613 was supposed to be on a 12-hour flight to Washington, D.C., just after midnight on January 24, but an hour into the flight, the pilot made an emergency diversion to Lagos.

    The main meal service was underway when the 12-year-old aircraft and everything else was sent flying airborne due to food trays and other untied items suddenly losing altitude on two separate occasions. did.

    Video taken from inside the cabin showed passengers screaming and clutching onto their seats as debris littered the floor, and red wine staining damaged overhead bins.

    There were 245 passengers, eight flight attendants and three pilots on board. The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria reported that 27 passengers and the remaining five flight attendants sustained minor injuries, as did the passengers and crew who had to be taken to hospital.

    United Airlines said a “technical issue” was behind the accident, but the cause of the sudden loss of altitude has not yet been established.

    In a statement, a spokesperson for the airline said: “A flight from Lagos, Nigeria to Washington DC returned to Lagos after technical issues and unexpected aircraft movement.”

    “It landed safely in Lagos and four passengers and two flight attendants were seen in hospital with minor injuries and released. I understand.”

    The aircraft involved in the incident remains on the ground in Lagos.
