Head to Clockworld Conservation Center in Scottborough on Monday 16th December for a party like no other. Henry, the center's most famous resident alligator, is 124 years old. Everyone is invited to join in the celebration.
Henry, believed to be the oldest known Nile crocodile in captivity, has been a resident of the center since 1985, and to commemorate this historic moment, Clockworld is offering visitors free cupcakes ( We plan to distribute them on a first-come, first-served basis. This is also a chance to meet Colgate, one of Henry's oldest friends. Colgate, who is over 90 years old, is also the second largest alligator at the center and is quite a celebrity himself.
Clockworld is also holding a December raffle in honor of Henry. When you purchase a R10 raffle ticket at Crocworld Curio Shop, you stand a chance to win a fantastic children's activity basket (worth R1,000) containing a range of goodies including toys, activity books, tasty treats and more. The raffle drawing will take place on January 3rd. 2025. Based at Clockworld, the Fish Eagle Café offers delicious food and drinks with ocean views, as well as a holiday program that includes daily demonstrations, feedings and more. Zikareza Outdoor Adventures also offers an aerial zipline experience.
