Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Vhembe Biosphere Reserve, this unique getaway features just six cliffside suites, offering a private, eco-friendly retreat in one of the world's most diverse natural environments.     Few & Far Luvhondo combines sustainability and luxury, drawing inspiration from ancient baobab trees and landscapes surrounded by local materials. The lodge is powered by renewable energy and follows a zero waste model. Innovative materials such as heat-treated eucalyptus are used, sustainably sourced and processed on-site through the company's manufacturing division, Fyred.

    This approach reduces carbon emissions while supporting local communities. The interior design reflects the patterns and textures of local rocks, plants and wildlife, while bespoke furniture and artwork highlight regional craftsmanship.

    Wellness services and other experiences

    The lodge offers a relaxing retreat where guests can unwind, connect with nature and help protect the planet. Wellness experiences include meditative labyrinth walks for introspection and mindfulness, outdoor yoga, guided meditation sessions, and more. The spa offers massages and facials using locally sourced organic ingredients.

    Activities for adventure seekers include game drives across the savannah, guided nature walks, and a Young Explorers program for families with children.

    Prices start at $1,800 per person, per night.
