Easyjet is in great demand for tourists to launch new flights to beautiful African towns and boost its economy.

The popular airline will soon launch flights from London Stansted and London Southend airports in spring 2025 to Enfida, northeastern Tunisia in spring 2025.

Ali Gayward, UK country manager at EasyJet, said as he unveils the new route:

“Continued growth and investment in the UK underscores the importance of this market and offers even more options for UK consumers. Our customers are trusted brands, unparalleled networks and great value freight. We have selected flights and holidays for.

“We have flew over 7 million customers from London Southend since we started our business there in 2012. Whether they're flying for business or leisure, we looks forward to further welcome on their ship.”

The airline already has several flights from Glasgow to Enfida. The flight to Enfida took off from Scotland Airport last May.

According to the company, flights from London Southend to Enfida will earn fares starting at £34.13 (one flight per person including tax) three times a week starting on Monday, Friday and Sunday, March 30th. .

Located in the northeastern part of Tunisia, Enfida boasts a rich history and culture, but is less popular than other coastal cities like Hammamet and Sousse.

Enfidha uses the airport to travel to various destinations in Tunisia, often visited by tourists heading to nearby beach resorts.

The town is approximately 24 miles south of Sousse.

Located near the Mediterranean coast, it is known primarily for agriculture. The proximity to the coast allows for small fishing and some tourism.

The main feature of Enfidha is the Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport, which opened in 2009. This modern airport serves as an important hub for international tourists, especially those arriving at resorts in Hammamet and other nearby towns.

By connecting Tunisia to Europe and other regions, it will help promote tourism and commerce.

Visitors to Enfidha can take some time to visit nearby tourist towns such as Hammamet and Sousse.

Visitors who travel a little more can visit Carthage and the capital Tunis a few hours away. These cities boast archaeological sites and vibrant urban life.
