Kinshasa area
FCDO advises all except for essential travel.
N1 Road in Kinshasa, Kinshasa, Menkao in the west, Kenji to the east, border of Mindonbe in the north, 10km south
DRC Central Africa Border
FCDO advises all travel within 50 km from the border with the Central African Republic.
Eastern DRC
FCDO will advise on all travel to the next state.
Haut-ulé and iTuri include the entire DRC-SOUTH SUDAN BORDAN BORDER NORTH KIVU, which contains Bukavu Maniema Tanganyika Haut-Lomami.
My Dombe's territory
FCDO advises all travels to Kwamas territory in Mai-nmbe. This is between Kwamas, Bandwunds and the town on the southern border of My Dombe.
Casai Oriental, Kasai, Casa Central
FCDO advises all travels to Casai Oriental.
FCDO advises all the essential travels to Kasai and CasaCentral.

DRC security status
North and South Kib
If you are in GOMA or BUKAVU, you can safely judge it and use the route, you need to leave.
The M23 captured the city of sesame. FCDO advises all travels to GOMA and Bukavu.
The border intersection between the Gisenyi/GOMA Rwanda and the DRC may be closed in a short period of time.
It has been reported that GOMA Airport has been attacked by the M23 units and has no commercial flights from the airport.
The route to leave Bukabu is limited.
Support from the British government is strictly restricted outside of Kinshasa. It should not be assumed that FCDO can provide support to leave the country in the case of serious anxiety or crisis.
Kinshasa
FCDO advises everything, except for the essential trip to Kinshasa City. If you are in Kinshasa City, consider leaving.
On January 28, there was a large and violent protest outside of KinShasa's multiple embassies in response to the battle of the eastern DRC in GOMA. Be alert and avoid protests. You can carry an identification document, limit your movement, and be careful when traveling at night. Some flights from Kinshasa Airport have been canceled. Please check in advance before traveling to the airport.
The British Embassy staff and dependents non -dependent temporarily withdrew from Kinshasa. The embassy continues to provide services that are indispensable for British people.
