Chapman Freeborn has signed an agreement with AJEX Logistics Services, a Middle East-based company specializing in expedited logistics and transportation solutions, to expand its cargo operations in Saudi Arabia.
The move by the global charter company was made in response to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 program, which aims to increase air cargo capacity to 4.5 million tonnes per year, an official release said.
Gerhard Coetzee, vice president of Chapman Freeborn Cargo, said: “This partnership is consistent with our mission to provide world-class aviation services and demonstrates our dedication to supporting Saudi Vision 2030. Together, we will advance innovation and excellence in aviation and cargo.” We ensure that our customers benefit from the best possible service. ”
The expansion of Chapman Freeborn's service offering comes after significant investments in people over the past two years, including the appointment of Linas Dovidenas as President of IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) in November 2024. It reflects our commitment to the community, the release added.
“By combining our regional strengths with Chapman Freeborn's extensive global network, we are committed to providing enhanced aviation and cargo solutions that support Saudi Arabia's ambitious growth goals.” said Mohammed Albayati, CEO of AJEX Logistics Services.
