Malaysia Airlines Group has formally transferred ownership of regional unit masswing to the Sarawak government following the signing of its sales and purchase agreement on February 12th. The parent company of Malaysia Airlines expects the transfer of ownership to be completed by the end of this year, adding that Maswings will continue to operate normally throughout the transfer process. A preliminary report from Brazil shows that the Golboeing 737 Max 8 has halted takeoff from Rio de Janeiro after hitting a vehicle on the runway. Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Kheiamo urged the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to ease the strict visa policy imposed on Nigerians to enhance travel between the two countries.
