AIRBUS has pointed out the operation issues more than a year after obtaining the certification, as the main reasons for the decision to close the specialized A300-600ST Beluga Cargo Airline.

“As a whole, the development of the freight market is not the reason for closing business because the operation problem was the biggest challenge instead.
BELUGA has a high main cargo deck, and Airbus needed to develop a tailored lifting platform that can handle oversized loads and transported it to the destination.
The aircraft added that the “specific” handling procedure and the dedicated training crew for loading and unloading are needed.
Airbus Beluga Transport operated four of the five A300-600STS AIRFRAMER.

Although the middle and long-term future of the A300-600st fleet has not yet been determined, the aircraft will initially return to the AIR BUS Transport International Certificate of Air Bus Transport International, the company's internal logistics division.
Airbus Transport International flies the A330-700L Belugaxl developed to replace the A300-600ST.
“Until the ATI runs (A300-600ST), it is subject to continuous planning,” says Airbus.
Although the airframmer has closed out -size freight airlines, it claims that the demand for a wider air freight market is still strong -some activities have been switched to sea transport, but the company continues to continue. “I play an aggressive role.”
“AIRBUS's product portfolio is composed of various individual products,” said Outsize Cargo Transport Service, “not linked to the development of Freight conversion business or A350 freight ships from passengers.
