Air France resumed Tanzania's operations after 28 years, and dropped off at Zanjibar from Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) from Paris -Charles Degor Airport to introduce a flight three times a week. The Route provided by the Airbus A350-900 is operated every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, providing 34 business classes, 24 premium economy, and 266 economy seats. This strategic movement is to respond to the increase in French tourists and business travelers exploring famous attractions in Tanzania, such as Mt.

The reopening of the route has strengthened links between France and Tanzania, and France is now one of Tanzania's top European market. Kilimanjaro International Airport continues to work as an important gateway to the northern safari circuits, and is enhancing its role by upgrading on the ongoing infrastructure, including parking expansion projects. Furthermore, French tourists have been active with the local community, including the recent donation of the French Group to renovate the Bashi Elementary School in Karatu. Air France returns to East Africa and plays an important role in promoting both sightseeing and local development.
