The Federal Aviation Bureau tracked more than 1100 runway safety accidents in 2024, tracking more than 1,700 in history in 2023.
The data from the FAA dating back to January 2020 indicates that there were 11 runway safety accidents at Easterwood Airport. Most of them were minor and none of them last year.
The National Transportation and Safety Board has shown 12 survey reports on aviation accidents in the Grator Brazos Valley region. All of these reports contained small aircraft, causing six deaths and 14 injuries, which were serious.
Neither of these accidents was accompanied by two aircraft collisions with each other.
