Zambia's Ministry of Tourism has reiterated its commitment to combat wildlife crime through its ongoing “More Alive” campaign launched in collaboration with Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) and the Prevention of Wildlife Crime (WCP). At the stakeholder review meeting at Kenneth Quender International Airport (KKIA) on May 7, government, conservation groups, airlines and media officials assessed the campaign's progress since its launch in August 2022.

Campaign-based efforts include the KKIA's life-size sculpture of endangered species species, distribution of multilingual recognition materials at four international airports, and the establishment of a Wildlife Crime Hotline with national park and wildlife officers. The initiative targets species such as elephants, pangolins and rhinoceros, and focuses on integrating conservation messages into travel infrastructure to promote awareness among travelers and support enforcement of the entire Zambian transport hub.
