Zambia's Ministry of Tourism held its 2025 Travel Agency Appreciation Award, recognizing the travel agency's important contributions in positioning Zambia as a leading global destination. The ceremony, held at the Urban Hotel in Lusaka on March 28th, attracted stakeholders from major industry. Officials praised the country's rich cultural heritage, wildlife experience and travel experts' efforts to promote the natural landscape.
President Evans Muhanga highlighted the ongoing government efforts to strengthen tourism infrastructure, air connectivity and sustainable travel practices. He also recognized South African Airlines' support in strengthening travel links in the region. Muhanga said that cooperation with the government, airlines and the private sector is important, reaffirming the Ministry's commitment to inclusive and responsible tourism growth to promote tourism development and community uplifting in Zambia.
