The 7th African Youth of the Tourism Innovation Challenge concluded the submission period with 151 entries. Finalists will be attending at the Nairobi Summit on June 24-27, 2025 for networking and collaboration with industry leaders.
NAIROBI, Kenya – The 7th African youth of the Tourism Innovation Challenge has been officially closed following an exciting period of innovative submissions from young changemakers. A staggering 151 entries have been received from innovators on the African continent.
The Innovation Challenge submission period has ended and we are currently evaluating entries. The prequalification process occurs in three phases. In the first phase, judges will select the top 20 participants to participate in the online boot camp. After that, five
Finalists will be selected. Finalists will be notified by April 30, 2025 and will be made on the media platform.
As the challenge approaches conclusions, the African Tourism Partners (ATP) and their partners hope to formally invite all young innovators and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector and related fields such as fintech, digital marketing, and mobility.

The summit brings together young innovators, industry leaders, policymakers and investors to create impactful discussion, networking and collaboration. Innovation Challenge Finalists will also appear. Finalists will deliver groundbreaking ideas live before a respected panel of judges and potential investors.
Africa Tourism Partners, United Nations Tourism, and BDO, together with their host partners, will invite all tourism stakeholders and youth in Travel, Tourism, Hospitals and related sectors, together with the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife Kenya, Team Africa and the Kenya Tourism Commission, to register and attend the 2025 Summit.
Desktop exhibition spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Other opportunities for participants to see include speed marketing, one-on-one meetings, career guidance clinics, master classes for mouse and young entrepreneurs, and branded platforms.
