Everything in Dubai is gorgeous and charming. And from the moment you land, you feel like you're stepping into your upgraded self. At Dubai International Airport, Tall Palms line the luggage area, with staff dressed in traditional Emirati outfits looking royal.

I was already thinking about matching vibes and outfits as I wanted to check out the five extravagants. By 8:30am, I was sitting at 35°C with a fever and quickly spotted the driver with “five luxurious” signs in a sharp gray suit. He greeted me warmly, grabbed my bags and set the tone of what would be a VIP experience from the start.

The car was a shiny black Tesla Model X, a brand with five hotel and resort logos. When the door was lifted up like a wing, I asked the driver to try again. Of course, for content.

Inside, cold air conditioners and coloured windows were welcomed. As they acquired up to five opulences, the sights of the gorgeous sports cars (Ram Borghini, Bugattis and Rolls-Royce) have become more exclusive to the experience.

The lobby was vast, with subtle floral scents in the air, adding to its calming elegance. In the center, it is a stunning spiral chandelier made of blue glass that glitters across a soft, tanned marble floor, resembling a small glass fish swimming in the air. All corners were carefully curated, including staff uniforms that matched the hotel's neutral pastel palette.

The floor-to-ceiling windows behind the chandelier gave us views of the hotel's pool and the Ibiza-inspired Prapacha Dubai Beach Club.

The oversized red cherry blossom sculpture surrounded by mirrors created the ultimate photo opportunity, completely complemented by a gorgeous sunbed and private cabana.

The vibe at Playa Pacha Dubai was the perfect blend of fun and luxury, with a group of family, influencers and friends embracing the atmosphere in the sun. The inflatable cherries floated around the pool, but the DJ played home and dance music to maintain the energy.

By noon, the pool was dancing in curated costumes, enjoying the moment, and the guests were alive in photo poses.

For me, it was all about trying coconut water along with playa pacha cherry carved into the shell. It was a great way to cool down as the sun was burning overhead. And yes, I took the photo first.

The luxurious seaview rooms were a microcosm of effortless elegance, offering breathtaking views of the beachfront, skyline and Aindbai.

Natural light flooded the space and pulled me towards the balcony. The spacious appointed room had ample storage for mine.

A large platter of chilled Prosecco, dark pistachio chocolate and a welcome fruit waited on the table.

The cutting edge technology was at my fingertips, and I was able to control everything, from the controlled curtains through the touch panel by the bed.

The “relaxed” preset mood darkened the room, gently closed the curtains, creating a cinematic atmosphere every morning, watching the city stretch out in front of me.

The personal touch continued with my name and a satin gold robe embroidered with custom pillows, making the room feel like it was my own.

The bed was very comfortable. This is a rare finding for people with scoliosis. It was soft and firm, providing proper support while feeling luxurious.

What surprised me the most was the contrast between the room and the rest of the hotel. The five gorgeousness radiates vibrant energy, but the rooms offer a calm calm and perfect escape before enjoying another day (and evening).

During my stay, I had the privilege of participating in a performance by the Grammy-nominated Duo Camelfat, part of the Pacha Icon series.

Known for outstanding tracks like “Cola” and “Breathe,” they created an unforgettable atmosphere and brought me straight to Ibiza's iconic nightlife scene.

Their performance at Playa Pacha Dubai served as a preview of the 2025 residency at Pacha Ibiza, which runs every Tuesday from May 20th to October 7th.

I was lucky enough to catch the sneak peak of what was being prepared for the headlining show at the June 19th Destinno Five Ibiza opening party.

If Five Luxe's ​​energy is on the table, it would be a massive event.

The crowds of Playapacha were as diverse as the music itself (couples, groups of friends, solo travelers).

Inclusivity, energy, sound – it was all there. And it wasn't just good night. The whole event was an outstanding moment. Not just the guests, but that's what they express.

Five and Pacha don't just hold events. It shapes the future of Dubai's nightlife. Playa Pacha's immersive production and world-class sound provided its distinctive Camelphat energy while setting the tone of what looked like an unforgettable season.

One of the highlights of my stay was dinner at Ronin, the hotel's Japanese restaurant. The space was dark and sultry, with an open plan design that invited a warm Dubai air when I dined.

The staff are enthusiastic and will walk me around the menu and recommend the drinks to drink.

It was later discovered that five Luxes were recently recognized by the Forbes Travel Guide and the BBC Good Food Middle East Awards. Hindsight made me feel like the overall experience was a little higher.

There is something about eating in a space awarded for excellence. It adds a layer of quiet verification at every moment.

I ordered a theatrical arrival of sushi platter and laid out on ice with a small chimney sending a wis of smoke on a plate. It was one of those moments where I pause before eating to incorporate it all, both in the taste and in the presentation.

The visuals were just as important as the flavors, and it was clear that all the details were taken into consideration.

The next morning I enjoyed a relaxing breakfast in bed. Thanks to Cielo's room service. There were over 200 suites in the hotel and I didn't expect any prompt delivery, but everything arrived within 20 minutes.

I went to everything: a full English breakfast, vegan sausages, fresh fruit, warm pastries, a drink with a brand of “five” covers. The rich hot chocolate was the highlight. I was so pleased that I didn't have to eat again until dinner.

Even in small moments, five Luxes know how to make things feel extra. There's nothing standard. That's the key.
