The British doctor's holiday in Sri Lanka became a nightmare when his girlfriend woke him up in the middle of the night and was convinced that there was an intruder in their room.

To his utter disgust, turning on the lights, he discovers not an intruder, but a large rat like a small cat lurking in a gorgeous hotel room.

Doctor and YouTuber Kiran Morjaria shared a horrifying encounter with 32,000 Tiktok followers, and by shattering bones, she shared the story to make her want to keep the lights up at night on her future vacation.

Although initially dismissing the fear of his girlfriend and considering her to be paranoid about the insects that are petrified, Kiran admits to his followers that the reality they faced was far worse than any bug invasion.

He relayed the uneasy event: “When I was in Sri Lanka last year, my girlfriend is afraid of insects and such things. She stood up and said, “I can hear something.”

But soon, his girlfriend's claims paid off. Kiran described the cold moments when he realized she was right all along.

Then came the discovery of dropping the jaws of a giant rodent who had secretly shared the room. He remembered the fear.

Kiran was shaking when he discovered a mammoth rat “biting our clothes in the room.”

He then invited his followers to reveal their own horrifying encounters, leading to a cascade of terrifying stories in the comments section.

Recounting the excruciatingly embarrassing moments caused by a child's diaper disaster in the swimming pool, “We closed the entire pool as our newborn baby was swimming and had an explosive, upset tummy that was so embarrassing that we had an explosive, upset tummy that we were so embarrassed.”

Euan's anecdote included a tense situation at Nantes Airport. There, he said that his t-shirt was positive for explosives as he played with Cap Guns the day before, and “at Nantes Airport, the t-shirt wiped away the explosives many times and played Cap Guns the day before.”

Katie's holiday took a turn that turned right after leaving JFK airport and surviving a taxi accident near fat.

Another commenter sympathised with Kiran's rodent trials, admitting that they had been petrified and said, “Allerraf (I don't normally scare mice, but I didn't sleep screaming.”
