Development of the Casio Aircraft Family of Electric Hybrids, Voltaro (Medis) has signed the intention (LOI) of SEDC Energy (SEDCE, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and French ACI Group (Lyon) and marks the next step towards the establishment of a regional hybrid air cracker centre at local power aircraft facilities.
As part of the agreement, SEDCE and ACI Groupe have expressed interest in acquiring shares in Voltaero and becoming a strategic investor. This investment forms the basis for a broader strategic partnership aimed at supporting clean aviation development throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
The deal outlines a shared vision to create a state-of-the-art assembly center in Sarawak for Voltaro's Casio aircraft.
“Establishing a regional hub in Malaysia will allow us to expand our production capacity and transfer local demand, skills and skills to key parts of the world that employ sustainable aviation,” said Jean Botti, CEO and CTO of Voltaero.
Key elements of the proposed collaboration are:
Establishing the Cassio Aircraft Assembly Facilities in Sarawak Training of Local Engineers and Engineers, and creating a pilot training academy with flight simulators in both France and Malaysia, will support the use of Cassio Aircraft in the growth of eco-efficient regional aviation technology transfer and the growth of local capacity development. Deployment and demonstration flights of mobile charging solutions at regional airports will raise awareness of voyages and stakeholders to raise public and stakeholder awareness of electrical hybrid aviation development in local supply chains to support aircraft production, and ACI Groupe will take the lead role in the early stages of the project, establishing aircraft capabilities for local maintenance, repairs, and aircraft joint development (STRATED and SAPING FUEELS) collaborators.
Voltaero's Cassio Electric-Hybrid Aircraft family is developed as a highly competent and reliable product line in utility category services for local commercial operators, air taxi/charter companies, private owners, and freight, postal delivery, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) applications.
