JOHANNESBURG — A bus lost control and killed 16 people after being overturned on a highway near Johannesburg's international airport early Tuesday and thrown from a vehicle, the Ministry of Transport said.
Ministry spokesman Koren Misibi said 12 people died at the scene and four died at the hospital. Msibi said 11 passengers were seriously injured and 24 were moderate to serious injuries, according to the report.
