United Airlines continues to expand internationally with new destinations and services in the summer of 2025. Airlines are offering more travel options to their customers, increasing the global connectivity of the company.
Washington Dulles will merge as United's second transatlantic hub after Newark. In the summer of 2025, the airline began operations in Senegal and has introduced new routes in France and Italy.
A new connection with the French Riviera
On May 22nd, United launched the Washington-Nice route with four flights per week, adding daily service from Newark. With this addition, the airline will increase capacity between the US and Nice Cote d'Azur airport by 30%.

Another link to Canal
United are strengthening their presence in Italy this summer. On May 22nd, daily direct flights from Washington to Venice began. This is currently the only non-stop connection between the two cities. A few weeks ago, the airline also launched a new Denver Rhome service.
The seasonal Newark Venice Service will move three weeks before schedule and run until December 18th, extending it for seven weeks beyond the end of the peak season.

Landing in Senegal
On May 23, United began a non-stop flight between Washington and Dakar, featuring three frequencies per week. This new route will allow airlines to enter the West African market and enhance both tourism and business bonds.
Additionally, United's African Network includes services to Marrakech (Morocco), Lagos (Nigeria), Accra (Ghana), Johannesburg and Cape Town (South Africa).

Unite in Washington Dulles
Today, United operates more than 250 flights daily, from Washington Dulles to more than 115 destinations in the US and around the world. The hub plays a key role in providing direct access to US capital in 2025 with flights to 21 world capitals and 30 countries.
