    Umhlathuze City Starts 30 Day Countdown to Tourism Investment Forum Africa 2025 – Tourism News Africa

    Umhlathuze City announces that the scheduled Tourism Investment Forum Africa (TIFA) 2025 will be held for exactly 30 days starting today, starting Monday, July 28th, 2025. KwaZulu-Natal is holding this investment conference for the first time.

    It will be held under the theme: Tourism and Infrastructure Investment: Economic change and strengthening community well-being at the Thembela event venue in Richards Bay from August 26th to 27th, 2025. Among the expected representatives are 200 high-ranking officials, investors, developers, multinational companies, and tourism stakeholders across the continent and beyond gathering for TIFA 2025.

    To enable representatives and visitors to experience the full scope of the region's economic potential, breathtaking natural beauty and famous hospitality, the city is moving to create truly memorable and impactful visits.

    “This is already one of our city's most proud moments as we are ready to welcome the world. It is not only an important milestone, but also a declaration of the intention to hold a prominent investment conference of this size in KwaZulu-Natal for the first time. Nkosenye Zulu.

    “We want to make it clear to all our guests that the city of Umhlathuze is open for business and important collaboration,” he continued.

    TIFA 2025 exists not just a forum, but as a strategic platform that introduces both city and state economic and tourism possibilities, fosters investment opportunities and enhances regional cooperation.

    In just 30 days, the city of Umhlathuze is in full preparation mode and ready to offer a world-class event that embodies the promise and prosperity of Kwazulu-Natal.
