Uganda Airlines announces a groundbreaking expansion into the European market by launching a flight to London Gatwick. On May 18, 2025, the National Airline will operate four non-stop flights per week between Entebbe International Airport and London Gatwick, marking an important milestone in the airline's five-year history.
This new route represents Ugandan Airlines' first foray into Europe, reestablishing the direct air link between Entebbe and the UK nearly a decade later. The introduction of this service highlights the airline's commitment to increasing connectivity and promoting stronger relationships between Uganda and the UK.

Industry reports consistently identify Antebe as one of the most underserved markets in London Africa, making Ugandan Airlines an entry highly anticipated development.

Flights will be operated using the state-of-the-art Airbus A330-800Neo to ensure a world-class onboard experience for guests. This schedule is carefully designed to make it more convenient for travelers, allowing seamless connectivity to Africa's extensive network through Entebbe's Uganda Airlines hub. Important destinations include Harare, Lusaka, Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja, Juba, Mogadishu, Kinshasa, Mombasa, Bujumbura, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Kirimanyaro, Johannesburg and the upcoming Accra routes.
Four times a week will be night flights except for Sunday flights scheduled in the morning. The airline operates the route on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
