TUI customers can obtain an additional allowance of up to 25kg of luggage per person when booking five different holidays. Popular airlines allow all customers to carry one piece of baggage up to 10kg per person, plus one small personal item such as laptop bags and handbags.
If the bag is larger than the size of the baggage allowance, passengers will need to check in their luggage. Normally, a package vacation with TUI Airways allows passengers to take up to 20kg of check bags per person, but booking one of the five package holidays will allow them to get an extra 5kg to get a total allowance of up to 25kg.
Tui says that passengers will receive a 25kg baggage allowance for all next holidays when traveling on a TUI Airways flight.

Additionally, passengers who upgraded to premium on long-distance flights on TUI Airways will also include 25kg of luggage, regardless of holiday type.
The TUI explains: “Bag pay varies depending on the type of holiday you book with us. Flying both ways on TUI Airways as part of a package holiday will include at least 20kg of check-in luggage and under 10kg per person.
“When flying on a Tui Airways flight, you will receive 25kg of luggage per person on the next holiday: Tui Blue, Sensatori from Tui Blue, Holiday Villages, A La Carte, Tui River Cruises Package.
“If you upgrade to premium on a long-haul flight with Tui Airways, you will also get 25kg of luggage, regardless of your holiday type.
“There is a 20kg baggage allowance per person for Marella Cruise and Marella Cruise & Stay Holiday. Couples who book one of their wedding packages will each get 25kg of hold luggage when flying on Tui Airways.”
However, if passengers arrive at the airport with luggage exceeding their assigned allowance, they face additional fees and these fees may vary depending on the season you travel.
The TUI adds:
Short and mid-flight (less than 7 hours) – 14 pounds per additional kiloron hole flight (over 7 hours) – 18 pounds per additional kg
For bookings only for flights that do not include check-in baggage allowance:
Short and mid-flight (less than 7 hours): 55 pounds per 15kg bag*, 14 pounds per extra kilo (over 7 hours): 75 pounds per 15kg, 18 pounds per extra kilo. ”
