Trump wants to sell $5 million “gold cards” as a way to citizenship
President Donald Trump says he wants to offer a “gold card” for wealthy immigrants who will give him a path to citizenship in exchange for a $5 million purchase price.
The proposed $5 million Trump gold card visa gives us citizenship to wealthy immigrants who could benefit cartels, mafia bosses and oligarchs. The proposal is a betrayal of American values. It replaces the image of freedom, focusing on “weary, your poor” on wealth. There are potential fraud and national security risks associated with the Gold Visa Program.
I nearly suffocated Cheerios when the news broke that a $5 million Trump gold card visa had come to the market in a few weeks. The president's pitch was that the card would replace the EB-5 visa card, allowing immigrants to invest in US businesses as a way of citizenship. America was able to use its extra wealth to pay off the deficit. Good news. yes?
Elon Musk came to the US in 1997 on an EB-5 visa. His legacy as an immigrant is in South Africa and Canada. There is no doubt that his investment in the company has earned billions of dollars for him. And there is no doubt that much of his investment in the company came from US resources.
A decade-long government contract, loans, subsidies and tax credits have enjoyed great bounty, not for our deficits or for the poor, not for him. State and local government sent $6.3 billion on his path in 2024. Masks are a gift that you will continue to give.
“You tired, your poor” – we can sandblast it. Money talks.
The Statue of Liberty picture, written “I'm tired and poor,” must be sandblasted and replaced with gold plaques that say, “If you invest $5 million in a Trump Gold Visa Card, you'll be welcome here.” ”
When the Statue of Liberty was built in 1883, Emma Lazarus wrote a poem as part of a fundraiser for its construction. In the 1800s, immigrants came from Europe. Because they saw the United States as a beacon of hope, freedom and opportunity. Hope for a better life has driven a huge number of people called Lazarus.
Since commissioned in 1886, the Statue of Liberty has stood as a welcoming light for all to share the blessings of America. Our values and principles of establishment have the spirit of those who want to be free from dictators and kings, and enjoy the civil rights of the pursuit of life, freedom and happiness.
The pendulum is far from that concept. We don't think it will get better for that.
Even Fox News speculates that immigrant “gold cards” could lead to fraud and risk
Even Fox News speculates that Gold Visa card plans “sug new scams and possibly represent a national security risk.” Everyone, not just criminals, but people of colour, in the wrong place, are rounded and seem ok with bondage. These “gathered masses” are no longer welcome. But that's the case with the world's oligarchs.
I thought who might take advantage of this golden offer:
1. A dark, smoky South American cantina cartel. The boss said: “I have $5 million. I think I'll get a Gold Visa card and become an American citizen. We really can do business there. They like American gangs.”
2. Italian mafia boss in a corrupt game of poker. “I have $5 million. Get US citizenship. You can set up a shop. Get a little bit of operation and make more money than you imagined. We're very good at disappearing people, mainstream America would barely know we're there.”
3. A big name in Saudi Arabia's oil industry. “This is my 5 million people and I'm getting skimmed right away. We become citizens and become part of the drill baby drill scheme.”
4. Olgarhis all over the world. “Let's become citizens. We can become fat cats who dominate the world with little regulation, surveillance, or tax.”
Foreign film stars, business tycoons and other billionaires will want to come here because they know this is a place of opportunity. Money is their goal. Screw the little man. The masses gathered, your time in America has increased.

How did you get here? For some reason, money and machismo have become American dreams and are supported by misinformation. Let's take away your rights. Let's take away the job. For the unfortunate thing, take away the basics like weather information, books, and words. Because someone wants to make us crippled, unknown, ignorant, obedient, so we can be a spoon to feed the bologna coming towards us at warp speed.
It's sad that many people in North Carolina are blinded to what's really happening. The rich become rich, and the poor get bread crumbs. That's how it is. Look at Russia. Another art of trading is at the American table.
The billionaires who own America may be the least concerned for us. I'm not sure the Americans are still fighting enough to resist the insanity.
