Tourists visiting Türkiye encouraged “stock up” by shops saying “not selling” | World | News

Tourists heading to Türkiye are told to stock up on one item as domestic stores are reportedly not selling. Experts at Wickdup's Vape warn that with the growing number of UK travelers, holiday makers heading to popular resorts around the country say they can't even buy the most basic supplies once they arrive. The company said that despite vaping being legal for personal use in Turkey, strict rules on tobacco-related advertising and sales mean that local stores and resorts often avoid fully refilling disposable steam, cartridges or liquids.

This is especially true for tourist hotspots. “We've heard many travelers returning from Antarya, Marmaris and Bodrum say they were completely caught off guard,” said expert Mike Byers. “Shops that once stocked basic vape gear are no longer available for sale at all. If you're used to picking up supplies on arrival, you'll no longer have to go without it.”

“It is not entirely prohibited for personal use, but strict retail rules limit sales.

“Our advice? Pack everything you need for your entire trip. And always double-check the latest regulations before you travel.”

Wickdup added that Turkey regulations allow visitors to currently be allowed to bring personal supply of steam and liquids to the country, including:

A spokesperson said: “Travelers are being urged not to rely once on local access within the country, especially in rural and small resorts.

For those looking for “easy vampire access” overseas, Wickdopp recommends considering:

France – vaping is legal in public places and refill products are widely sold

Poland – Liberal Vape Law and Affordable Prices

Czech Republic – Vaping is permitted in most public areas and the products are easy to find

The company added: “As usual, travelers should consult official government guidance before flying, especially if they are packing vampire products or crossing borders across multiple countries.” ”
