Sophia
One of Europe's oldest cities, Sofia is a walking destination that doubles as an ideal break for budget travelers, with plenty of relaxing cafes and bars.
Marrakech
Return flights from London and Manchester to Marrakech again this month are around £112 per person, with the Moroccan city being home to Sprowlingsuk, which sells local spices, traditional pottery and clothing.
But it's not only about shopping with a card, but on your trip to Marrakech you will also get the opportunity to stare at the Atlas Mountains. Or, if there's something more relaxed, you can indulge in the Hammam instead. The biggest part of leaving in June is the weather, with Marrakech looking at an average of 35ºC this month.
Budapest
If you're slightly pushed by time but still want a break, another option is just two hours away from the UK. Known as Bass City thanks to its numerous thermal springs and bathhouses, Budapest also has the Danube River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The temperatures reached 24c in June, and flights from London are 45% cheaper than they were since June.
