Somali authorities say there are no survivors after the crash of a Havilland DHC-5D cargo ship that crashed outside the capital Mogadishu.
The aircraft descended 24km southwest of the city on March 22nd around 5:43pm.
Five staff members were on board.
The Somali Civil Aviation Authority says none of the residents survived.
Government agencies and partners are conducting rescue operations on the scene.
Civil Aviation Authority has identified the DHC-5 as a Kenya Registration Aircraft (5Y-RBA).
The aircraft operated by Trident Aviation was detained by Dhobley to Mogadishu.
De Havilland developed a short takeoff and landing DHC-5 turboprop known as Buffalo in the mid-1960s.
