Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh, located in eastern India. When it comes to the world's largest city (by population), Dhaka is ranked 12th behind India's Delhi and China's chili peppers. Dhaka is home to a huge number of residents, but it attracts a small number of international tourists every year. In fact, Bangladesh is not even in the top 100 most visited countries in the world.

Dhaka falls near the top 10 when it comes to the world's largest megacities, but it's been running in other metropolitan areas in Asia. According to multiple sources, the world's most populous mega city is Bengaluru, India.
Following this, Bangkok, Thailand, will be in second place. Bangkok is a familiar place for many tourists, especially backpackers traveling around this region of Southeast Asia.
