The gorgeous palace of Indian wheels was selected by Condé Nast as the best train journey in the world in 2024 for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The train trip will stop in nine different cities and travel 1850 miles through India in just eight days of space.
The train began its journey in Delhi's bustling capital, and traveled to Jaipur, a famous pink city founded in 1727, known for its stunning pink buildings and rich cultural heritage. From Jaipur, this trip continues to the Ranthamboa Tiger Reserve and Chitgarhirfort, a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and India's largest fort.
Next, we visit a train called the Lake City, founded in 1553 by Maharanau Daisin II, known for its train-like lakes and the Palace of Rajputana.
Other cities and sites include Jaisalmafort, standing among the deserts of Rajasthan, Jodhpur, Bharatpurbad Sanctuary and of course the inevitable Taj Mahal.
Train trips promise traditional dance, local markets, fine dining, wildlife and plenty of luxury.
Guests can enjoy the themed cabin, using themed events, film screenings, and cabins, all the themed cabins around precious stones and elaborate furniture and linens.
The trip has come to its name and offers luxurious amenities such as a spa, fitness centre, multiple restaurants and a lounge bar.
