Emergency response to regional airport crashes in southwestern Oregon
According to an airport spokesman, Stephanie Kilmer, a 2019 Honda HA-240 that departed from Utah, was about 100 feet away from the eastern edge of the runway.

After contacting the airport, they land because the plane crash may be a dangerous day.
The emergency response team quickly secured the aircraft. Kilmer said: “Airplane rescue and firefighters were on the scene.
In fact, some witnesses had seen the plane slip off the end of the runway, and emergency responders were called. ”
Kilmer praised the airport's training protocols and noted that extensive victim training allowed the rescue operations to run smoothly and that all individuals quickly evacuated from the aircraft.
Investigating an ongoing plane crash
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the conflict.
The plane was removed from the water with NTSB approval and is currently stored near the incident site for evaluation. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
Passengers and pilots hospitalized after the collision
The pilot, who suffered minor injuries, and four passengers, were taken to the hospital.
Everything was reported to be wary and stable. By the morning of April 8th, only one person remained hospitalized and another person had been transferred to another facility.

Impact on airport management
Commercial air traffic on the airport's main runways has been temporarily suspended. However, quick action to remove the aircraft led to the runway reopening.
According to the airport, “a rapid permit for removal from water that helped reopen the airport's major runways to air transport.”
The investigation will continue as authorities work to determine the factors behind the incident.

A small aircraft crashes, causing two deaths
Legal.ng previously reported that a small plane crashed into a commercial building in Southern California on Thursday, killing at least two people and wounding several others, local authorities said.
