A new book has launched in Accra, exploring strategies for tourism opportunities and growth in Ghana. Tourism is money… Written by Tourism Professor Dr. Damien Duchamp, the road to Ghana was announced at the UK Council before industry stakeholders, students and media audiences. From decades of global experience, Dr. Duchamp offers insight into the role of technology in shaping economic development, hospitality, manufacturer tourism, and the future of the sector.
The book, which is composed of 21 chapters, blends practical case studies and theory, mostly mainly in Ghana. Dr. Duchamp explains that 80% and 20% focus on tourism entrepreneurship around the world focus on examples that are endemic to Ghana. With a wide range of target audiences, from students to industry experts, the book offers tools and exercises to promote innovation and sustainable growth. Dr. Duchamp hopes it will serve as a practical resource and help tourism practitioners improve their strategies and maximize opportunities for Ghana's evolving tourism landscape.
