Nigeria's Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has named Xejet as its official operational partner and granted approval for Enugu Air to launch its domestic flight operations. This move allows airlines to start services while completing their own Aviation Operator Certificate (AOC) process. Ticket sales are currently open to the public via the Xejet platform and can be accessed via the redirect on the Enugu Air website.
The airline officially launched Nigerian Aviation Minister Festus Khiamo at Enugu International Airport this week. The early stages include flights from Enugu to Abuja and Lagos, with expansion into other domestic and regional African destinations underway. Enugu Governor Peter Mba said the initiative is aimed at boosting tourism, attracting investment and creating jobs.
