Digital companies considered by “Photo-Opportunity” number mention TripAdvisor, Instagram hashtags, Tiktok searches, groundbreaking search volumes and more.
Which landmark will be number one?
London has won the top three spots in the UK for “prettiest” and has defeated older, natural landmarks such as Eding Bar Castle and the Lake District. However, the number spots will be sent to Big Ben.
Big Ben, also known as the Great Bell of Westminster's Great Clock, stands at the northern tip of Westminster Palace in London. According to a visit to London, the name was actually given to a bell in the clocktower, but is generally associated with the entire building, as it weighs over 13 tons.

The digital company then used #x to dig deeper into the number of Instagram posts. Here, X is the landmark name and Tiktok. They also looked at the total global searches for each landmark from April 24th to March 25th.
Big Ben in London boasted a total score of 62% of five-star reviews, 217 photo opportunity mentions, 3,627,657 Instagram hashtags, 352,000 Tiktok searches, 22,780,000 Google searches, and a total score of 61.78 (out of 100). London's eyes were ranked 2nd in honor, while Buckingham Palace was ranked 3rd.
Among the UK's top historic landmarks, Edinburgh Castle came in fourth, Stonehenge came in fifth, and Yorkminster came in 13th. The lowest landmark is Cumbria Lake District National Park, with an overall score of 13.49.
