Unable to wait for summer to roll, sun detectors can escape a lot of Easter and indulge in the peace and serenity of one beach you don't expect. Wizz Air travel experts have looked at Europe's least busy beaches and April's highest temperatures, discovering hidden gems and overlooked spots in spring. When deciding on the beach, they analyzed the top beaches in over 50 countries in Europe, and one particular location was a surprise. Playa Dan Bossa, in Ibiza, Spain, came in second in April on the list of Europe's least busy beaches, making it the top place to visit this Easter. As Ibiza's longest beach, there are plenty of spaces where tourists can relax in the sunlight at their own private spots.
This area is an average temperature of 16C for April, with a height of 19C and 10 hours of sun height every day. Needless to say, spending your vacation can absorb the ocean, the sun and beautiful environment without the busy months of rushing. “There are hidden coastal gems that are often not noticed. At WizzAir, we are passionate about helping us discover these little-known treasures away from the crowd, from secluded bays in Croatia to sandy Albanian areas,” said András Rado, director of communications at Wizzair.
Less than three hours from the UK, Ibiza is famous for its parties, clubs and DJ sets, but what is often overlooked is its pristine beaches and clear waters, with Playa den Bossa having both. This beach is considered the best bet for a peaceful day, but Ibiza has many beautiful beaches.
The Mediterranean islands include beaches such as Las Salinas, shallow waters perfect for families and Kara Jondal, a great place to find and sizzle sangria at many beach bars.
Other spots that are thought to be secluded with a quiet atmosphere are Kalasala deta, the smaller, hidden beach, and Kala Olivera, which offers a more natural environment with untouched sand, perfect for snorkeling.
Withaea also boasts high temperatures, when Nissi Beach, in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, discovered in April this year that it was one of Europe's most inhabited beaches. Despite being one of Cyprus' most popular beaches, it is 600 meters long and offers ample space for tourists to sunbathe and go for a swim.
Another top destination from their findings is the pristine beaches along the French Riviera. Plage de Pampelonne is located near the idyllic village of Ramatuelle, with temperatures reaching 17 degrees in April. It is known for its glamour and charm, but it also has a quiet space that is perfect for relaxing in the sunlight.
