The stunning beaches in southern France are loved by celebrities and known for their white sand. Plage de Pampelonne has been featured in the list of Wizz Air, the most overcrowded beaches this April, following an analysis of over 50 European countries.
The airline estimated the space each beach offers per person, and combined this data and temperature for this Easter holiday to give each destination an overall score of 50. Beach was given a score of 32.3, finishing third. It is the longest beach in the St. Tropez region, stretching over 5 km long and is known for its white sand and beautiful blue waters. The beaches in the village of Ramatoel, not St. Tropez itself, are actually divided into different areas, some open to the public and designated as various beach clubs.
These allow you to hire sun loungers and umbrellas and enjoy the food and drink options you need to serve your visitors.
Particularly popular clubs include Club 55 and Nikki Beach. Here you will find a mix of locals, tourists and celebrities.
The beach is known for busy summer months in September and in spring, but the weather is still glorious, but there is more space.
Pamperonne has a public shower, toilet and lifeguard while working from mid-June to mid-September. For those looking to take public transport, there is a bus service running from Central Cent Tropez to the beach, which takes just 15 minutes. On the other hand, paid parking is also available.
During the high season, the beach is cleaned by beach attendants – “Plagistes”. It also offers a variety of water sports, including jet skiing, windsurfing and paddleboarding.
The beach on the Wizz Air list ranked for Pampelonne was Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, with a score of 36.7. Playa Dan Bossa in Ibiza, Spain, scored the same score.
Fourth and fifth place were Praia de Falesia of the Algarve, Portugal, and Konard Prazilal, in Antalya, Turkey.
Visitors praise the beach's “white sand, turquoise waters and calm sea entrances” and are called “all beaches of the Centrope region” by TripAdvisor tourists.
Others discussed the beautiful scenery, the yachts in front of the beach, and various beach bars and food.
