As summer approaches and the evenings grow longer, many of us can gather at our local pubs to enjoy a drink with our sun and friends. Fayntravel.com has revealed the best pub gardens in the UK – is your local on the list?
The list is topped with Lakeview Garden Bar in Bowness, Windermare. The beer garden is taller, so it overlooks the largest lake in the Lake District, promising “pub grabs, cool drinks and amazing views.” Foungtravel.com also says it's a great place to “see life” and find raptors and strange fish. Visitors call it “a great little bar with a place that's hard to beat” and “absolutely amazing.”
Alnwick's Tree House is second in the place. This “fairytale style” pub sits in a canopy among trees illuminated by fairy lights, offering views of the castle and gardens.
And the third is the fortune of the war in Brighton. FunyTravel.com described it as a “iconic” beachfront pub with promenade and sunset views. We also hold reggae nights, jazz sessions and DJ events.
The website also created a top 30 listings, including Oast House in Manchester, Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich, Potting Shed in Crudwell and Dores Inn in Inverness.
