Thai Airways International will resume trading on the Thai Stock Exchange in August following his exit from business rehabilitation.
On July 23, Star Alliance operators said that Thai Stock Exchange (SET) approved the lifting of suspension designation on Thai securities, and approved it for transactions that will resume on August 4.
This set also includes Thai securities in calculations of the set index effective August 5th.
Thais were discontinued from the set in 2021. This was abolished amidst a well-known financial issue that led to submissions for business rehabilitation.
Since then, it has implemented a series of restructuring measures, including consolidating its operations into a single brand, streamlining the fleet, and investing in cabin upgrade operations.
This ultimately peaked with approval from the Thai Bankruptcy Court in June this year to withdraw the debt restructuring program.
