Tanzania had impressively surpassed its target of attracting 5 million tourists by 2025, and by April of that year it had welcomed 5.3 million visitors. The results represent a 7% increase over the original target, reaching three months before the end of the fiscal year, indicating the country's rapid growth and rise in status as Africa's best travel destination.

After the global turmoil caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Tanzania's tourism sector has demonstrated exceptional resilience and recovery. This success comes from targeted promotional campaigns, infrastructure strengthening, and strategic collaborations that effectively pulled visitors from around the world, with a steady increase in both tourist numbers and revenue.

The main driver behind this surge is the growing influx of travelers from China. In the current fiscal year, approximately 71 tourists from the Far East traveled to Tanzania. Featuring a well-known Chinese actor, the film clearly portrays Tanzania's breathtaking scenery, diverse wildlife and rich cultural heritage, significantly increasing interest and travel bookings among Chinese audiences.
