Founded by Jeremy and Emma Borg, Painted Wolf Wines combines with a passion for great winemaking and conservation. Some of their wine sales support the conservation of endangered species of African wild dogs, also known as painted wolves, and the African wilderness. This has so far exceeded USD 200,000.
In collaboration with artist Leandri Erlank, Painted Wolf Wines has launched an art-driven donation campaign for the Endangered Species Wildlife Trust (EWT). A graduate of Stellenbosch Fine Arts, Erlank specializes in sculptures and expressive artwork that evoke a deep connection to wildlife. Her dynamic work highlights the beauty and vulnerability of wild African dogs, and stimulates action and awareness.
Leandri Erlank:
“Art makes conservation visible. My work tells the story of a wild African dog, one of Africa's most endangered carnivorous animals.
Emmaborg:
“We are proud of this incredible endangered species ambassador, who spreads consciousness through wine, labels and stories. We appreciate the support of the tourism industry. Sustainability benefits everything because wine, tourism and wildlife are interconnected. Through EWT, we maintain biodiversity and support the ecosystems essential to all three.”
