The woman shared how much her income has changed after abandoning the UK for Spain – and she said there is a huge difference.
Geo, known as Spain Geo on Tiktok, regularly creates travel content for social media platforms. She recently revealed something quite important about what it is like to live a good life abroad.
In a candid video, she admitted that she “earns” her life in Spain more than she worked in the UK. But despite the lifestyle boost, she said many people who think that if you move abroad you won't make much money.
Geo has lived under the sun for about six years and now she has admitted to going home “more and more.” She also feels that her mental health is much better and has time to sit down and drink coffee and other things.
These are just a few of what I think she adds to making her life more content. For her, leaving the UK behind was a really good decision.
In the clip, Geo said:
“I can eat fresh local food, eat the sun on my skin and get fresh air every day. I'll make happiness and make more of my people.
“There's a lot of socialisation to do after work. I don't live on weekends. So, on paper, I'm not actually making any more – but someone else has to take a coffee for £ Can you tell me where I can enter in 1.20 in the UK?
The video has been viewed over 4,000 times since it was shared, and people quickly commented. They had all sorts of thoughts and questions to share.
One person said: “I left the UK in three weeks and moved to Valencia full time. Honestly, I can't wait.”
Another wrote: “Most of my Spanish friends are unemployed living in Spain, so it really depends on the situation. It's perfect for people who can make it work.”
The third person replied again: “We will be moving to Spain next year. I am scared of not being able to get a job, but I believe in my dreams.”
Meanwhile, the fourth commented: “Same here! But I also have more money than Germany for the profits of a large company. Moving to Spain is my life It was the best decision – never left again.”
