Spacex Rocket Debris Force Force Australia-South Africa Routes and SAA flight delay

Cantas and South Africa Airlines (SAA) faces the flight delay and cancellation between Australia and South Africa due to the falling of Spacex Rockets. ELON MUSK's aerospace company uses the Southern Indian Ocean as a splash Down zone for returning space equipment, including rockets and satellites.

Ben Holland, head of the Canantus operations center, told Reuters on January 14, 2025 that debris could be re -entered in the vast area. He explained that the decision to delay the flight was in accordance with guidance from the US government. “While trying to make changes to the schedule in advance, the recent launch timing has been moved by recent notifications.

SPACEX chose the South Indian Ocean for the remote, but the airline operation was interrupted by frequent adjustments to start schedules. “We have contacted SPACEX to see if the rocket re -input area and time window can be improved to minimize the confusion in the future,” said Kantas officials.

Currently, only the three normal flight routes cross the South Indian Ocean. The Perth to Mauritius to Perth is operated three times a week on Airbus A330NEO Aircraft. Sydney from Sydney in Cantas to Johannesburg is operated six times a week on Airbus A380 aircraft. On September 30, 2024, Kantas upgraded Sydney Johanne Bar Gute and replaced Boeing 787-9 Dream Liner with a larger Airbus A380. The affected flight, QF63, usually departs from Sydney at 9:30 am, arrives at Johannesburg at 2:45 pm on the same day, and is about 13 hours and 45 minutes.

In the future, Cantas plans to re -introduce the Perth Johannesburg route by the middle of 2025 until the approval from the Western Australian Border Authority is on hold. This movement aims to challenge the current monopoly owned by SAA. SAA has increased the number of routes on a flight five times a week from December 7, 2024 to four flights to January 6, 2025.

Guardian reports that SAA's perspective to Johannesburg, which is operated five times a week on Airbus A340-300 aircraft, has also experienced the same confusion for Spacex Rocket REENTRIES. However, details are not provided. These flights follow the same way to the Cantas Sydney Johannesburgle, and the schedule at the last minute will become more and more common.

SpaceX is officially known as Space Exploration Technologies Corp. and is a private aerospace manufacturer and space transport service company established by Elon Musk. The company, which also runs Tesla, has revolutionized the space industry, but has been scrutinizing the impact on the world's aviation.
