South Korea's low-cost operator, T'Way Air expects the Boeing 737 to be delivered for up to 8 seconds by 2027.
T'Way details its recent fleet program, saying that the 737 largest aircraft (20 aircraft on orders) will “gradually” replace the 26 737-800.
The airline received its fourth MAX 8 on June 19th. I received this less than a month after I delivered the third example.
The fourth aircraft, the registered HL8581, will be first deployed on flights between Korea and Japan, and then operate on longer flights to Southeast Asia and other regions of Northeast Asia.
T'Way has also confirmed that it will adopt the first Airbus A330Neo distribution in 2026. The carrier leases five A330Neos from the lessor in the agreement first disclosed in 2024.
