According to Home Minister Leon Schreiber, South Africa will implement a fully digital digital travel certification (ETA) system by the end of September 2025. Initially applied to short-term tourist visits for up to 90 days, the new system is part of the government's efforts to modernize visa processing and border entry procedures.
