South Africa relaxes visa rules to make Indian travel easier

According to The Times of India, in January, the South African government launched a trusted tour operator scheme (TTO). This makes them want to boost tourism, create jobs and improve the economy. Under this scheme, 65 tour operators from China and India, effective from February 12th, can work directly with the South African Ministry of Home Affairs to submit group visa applications to clients.
This removes the management barrier, removes the long, individual application process, and provides a faster and more effective visa procedure. Business experts believe the initiative is a key step in strengthening the tourism sector in South Africa, and economic growth will also be helpful.

South Africa will ease the entire process for travel enthusiasts by relaxing the visa procedure for Indians! TTOS's digital strategy will eliminate the need for applicants to visit embassies, wait in long queues, and fill in many documents to obtain a visa. Despite the picturesque scenery and a range of attractions, South Africa only welcomes a small number of travelers from India and China. According to reports, Indian tourists account for just 3.9% of South Africa's total arrivals. Meanwhile, only 1.8% of Chinese tourists account for. With this new scheme, they believe South Africa will be able to see an annual increase in tourism by 10% and an economic growth of an additional 0.6% with many employment opportunities.
